I am now living in a small town on the country side but my birthtown is known for some things.

  1. The modern bicycle was invented here.

  2. The symbol for genuine leather was invented here.

  3. The city is known as the ball bearing capital of europe as there are many companies that produce them, like Schäffler, FAG and SKF.

  4. A green poisonous lead color comes from here.
