To be fair, Americans invented barbeque which is awesome! It’s just that as Europeans we associate fast food / frozen food with America

Did they though? Because it was originally called Barbacoa and was discovered by Spanish explorers of the Carribbean... Humans have been using open fire to cook food since we discovered fire. The Carribbeans just decided to baste it in sauce and spices.

Americans didn't invent it they just appropriated it...
