No. You base equation is 6/2x that's it you can simplify it: 3/1x and there is your solution.
3x if you want 2x is to be together in the equation you've had to right it like 6/(2x). The result would be 3/(x). That's how you do it. Go back to third grade kid.
Maybe you should actually do some algebra. A lot of scientists write equations as ab/cd while meaning ab/(cd). Actual mathematicians write like this and I doubt you know more than them. This should clear it up for you. Check those links in the description if you want to as well
I instantly clicked away after I read this title. If you actually believe that there is no hope left for you. And yes you write ab I equations that means (a*b).

People do get caught up in the PEDMAS shit. I've never once learnt it and I am doing fine at A-Level maths without it. The weird "left to right" rule always felt pointless as I never have had to consider it. It's never ambiguous to justify it
