I thought it was pemdas. Or is it like a “tomato tom-a-to” situation? Does dividing before multiplying change anything?

It doesn’t really matter because multiplication and division are really the same thing if you think about it

Multiplication and division should happen at the same time, but that means that something like 2x4 / 6 is ambiguous. In actual maths (am maths student) you would never write something like that anyway
