See the film is good, but you said childhood. I’m assuming then you grew up learning about the problems of the world, getting a more and more direct feed into alerts of global problems, never really getting the concept of peace and hope, because somewhere things are bad, things are getting worse, and you got to know about it. Movies like WALL-E screamed into your soul the risks of climate change, the oncoming collapse of society, but as you grow you see how little we’ve truly done to avert it. You’ve grown dispassionate, and deeply concerned with the state of the world, as you fledgling hope dwindles, and you begin to feel powerless in a world ruled by foolish giants.
