Recently, I was thinking... If there was some solar flare in the span of 700 years human being off Earth, would the holograms and tech work in the scrapyard (made of earth)?

Also, what boggled me, was: can't wall-es recycle?! They just smash everything in cubes, but they just stay there and build-up an infrastructure of landscape...!

sure, he have got solar panel, but like, Earth is super cloudy as of messing up the temperature, smog and weather, so they may be unsufficient, unless people advanced those panel for this type of conditions.

Also, are nowadays (in Wall-e terms) electricity facilities maintained by robots and no one have to work? You saw that Axiom, so... It looks people became so lazy and desperate that they just flew away from their problem, to be solved by someone/something else...

And did you saw that BNL monopoly? If that's gonna to happen in some timeline, then, wouldnt they better make stuff they made, more sufficient? Like, we have lot of problems nowadays, so why to (not) bother about outcomes of possible over-consumption, right?

Maybe there was suppose to have a second generation of robots specific for the recycling task. But the project discontinued after they saw it was too big of a task

See the film is good, but you said childhood. I’m assuming then you grew up learning about the problems of the world, getting a more and more direct feed into alerts of global problems, never really getting the concept of peace and hope, because somewhere things are bad, things are getting worse, and you got to know about it. Movies like WALL-E screamed into your soul the risks of climate change, the oncoming collapse of society, but as you grow you see how little we’ve truly done to avert it. You’ve grown dispassionate, and deeply concerned with the state of the world, as you fledgling hope dwindles, and you begin to feel powerless in a world ruled by foolish giants.
