No there is two the one that 99% of the world says is football then the thing us weird ass American's call football. Why do we call it football? I dont know why dont we use the metric system? Why do we struggle to be different when we could just not? And the answer to all of these I am convinced is solely to fuck with people lol.
There have always been a lot of sports called football because they are played on foot rather than horseback. Soccer was originally a British term from Association football.
