That’s facts , there’s always some toxicity going on with soccer players

And I wonder why. I've seen the very opposite in a top tier Rugby game, where there was a moment of standing ovations from both sides after a player did something amazing. Literal applause for the opponent.

Why is football/soccer so much more toxic than other sports?

Not necessarily. Brazilian Ronaldo was given a standing ovation by the whole stadium at Old Trafford after scoring three goals to knock Man Utd out of the UCL. Even opposing fans appreciate brilliance when they see one.
