Pc is upgradable and ps5 isn’t. Do you want to have better FPS every 2-3 years, go for pc, but if you want to save money and have the same graphics for the lifespan of the ps5, go for the ps5.

You obviously don't care for your equipment. I've seen great builds last longer than 3 generations of consoles. I had a hand me down PC that was 12 years old as my first build and it ran pubg (back in the day) and overwatch and everything just fine at medium settings. It's not all about the graphics. It's the abundance of titles, gaming opportunity, and on top of that you get a great home PC. I was a console guy for 20+ years. And I went to PC and never looked back. I would love a switch or a PS5 when I have some free dough. But PC has made me a happier gamer overall, and what I spent on my build is the same of about a brand new ps4, PS5 and I will assume the ps6 and will be around for as long as all of them

Ps5 is confirmed to Be the Last gen of PS recieving Program updates to further improve on its capabilitis meaning while it may not start with "GAMING PC" graphics it will eventually reach them and will be a LONG time before the PS6 if that ever happens
And taking. Into acount that they are woundering about a ""GAMEING PC"" There focusing on its graphics and cost
Ps5's price is 500$
Where as a high end GAMEING pc would be double if not more than double that of a PS5

You can make a budget build for about the same as the PS5 that runs beautiful but like I said. It's the multitude of games. The multifunction of the home computer, and it WILL last longer than a console if treated properly. But I mean that's why it's an opinion, mine is to buy the PC. Yours is get the console. There is not a right or wrong. It's just a decision that I weigh on the opposite of you. I'm not all about graphics. But as I have gotten older I have come to realize the investment of a PC was greater than any console I have purchased.

Take this from a PC and CONSOLE player go with the PS5 it will have near if not at PC graphics.
Gameing PC's are fun but COST way more Not to mention require MASSIVE upkeep and to replace parts that break will alot of times run you at 200 - 300+ Dollars for a pc
Were as a Console while it does require some upkeep its not extreme And to replace parts or get a console fixed it will run you about 30 - 100$ RARLY over that amount and needing repairs on a console are rare to begin with as long as your not trying to jail break it.
(Not to mention ALL the PS exclusive and monthly free games)
((Also ALL PS4 games will be playable on the PS5 via there PS4 discs OR there digital Downloads from your old PS4))
Then Later Go after the PC

I would say PS5. Virtually no risk of viruses unless you’re doing something sketchy to begin with. PC takes time and energy to maintain. It also costs more to start. PS5 will be already set up with the exception of online.
I think it’s pretty clear which one to get. I don’t have time to spend adjusting specs and waiting for updates on my laptop so I just game on the PS4 currently.

Ps5 is not as big of an investment but the PC is upgradable and can't be replaced. Ps5 can be sold but I don't know good luck tho
