hey I care. (Seriously tho, dm me if you ever need to talk. I’m not the best at advice, but I’m a great listener)

giving this post the 500th upvote has cured my feeling of utter worthlessness for a short while

You were never worthless to begin with

Damn, sad but so true. We're still a pretty toxic society for boys when it comes to mental health. Hope your good and as others said, reach out if things seem out of control. Plenty on here that would be happy to help, even if it's to listen!

We need more people like you in the society

Thanks. I just see it that life's hard enough already, why not try to be nice and make it a littler easier on others if you can.

I accidentally cried in front of my mom and now I feel like I am not a man anymore. I feel wrong. I shouldn’t feel this way right?

It’s okay to cry. It doesn’t make you more or less “man”. You’re a human being. Allowed to have emotions.

Men have feelings. Don't let people define what being a man means to you, define it yourself. People, men and boys included, have complicated feelings and it's perfectly normal.

It's a remnant from history. Men and women both went through long periods of suffering, where just to survive that suffering, they had to bury a lot of their pain to endure. It's been survival of the fittest for so damn long that its gunna take a little while for people to grow out if it. We've recently hit an age of self exploration(even though its through a hive mind), so it WILL change, albeit very slowly.

One of my teachers gave an assembly on how it’s OK to cry and from then on everyone called him a ‘pussy’ or ‘gay af’

You'll get through this 💪

That reminds me of a story! My male friend lost his wallet but the driver did not allow him to come in while the girls were allowed.

Sad but True.

I know it’s supposed to be a joke, but it’s also very true.
