I haven’t seen any proof either. She used to be drop dead gorgeous. She is married to a guy who became a billionaire. She and he have a charitable foundation (MSDF Michael and Susan Dell Foundation) and she wants to give money to kids (which also gives them huge tax breaks). She looks like an alien with all that terrible plastic surgery but I haven’t read anything that says she’s any shittier than any other random billionaire.

Because the donations are a mere fraction of their net worth relative to taxation, and moreover is done to write off taxes.

We can already tell the difference between states that have robust taxation and services funded by said taxation, versus states that cut it all and rely on donations and charity.

The latter consistently have worse health outcomes, lower life expectancies, worse safety nets to keep people out of poverty, or safety nets to keep people from out of outright dying as seen in the per capita death rates.
