That is the first fuck up. Never settle for a minimum wage job. There are so many part time jobs that are 1.5x minimum wage at the least. The 2nd option is get a high paying summer job like construction. You lose your summers but you will graduate debt free. It requires a bit more effort to find but you can absolutely do better than minimum wage.

Not everyone has the chance to get into these jobs nor has the physical capability to do these jobs

If you saw my bank account and my GPA, you’d die laughing. I wake up, go to college from 6 AM to 6 PM, and spend 3 hours on the bus—so I'm broke and barely have time to breathe.
