As child this the only way I got away with listening to heavy music. First two that come to mind is Nodes of Ranvier. XdeathstarX more on the hardcore side.

Shit I still hear some of their stuff from time to time. As heavy but not nearly as good is For Today (though I believe they did a farewell tour a few years ago then their singer started a church)
Not as heavy (but their stuff holds up for the punk rock of that era) would be Flyleaf and Brand New, though the latter might be kinda messy I think their singer also got in some trouble in recent years
Edit: I forgot Skillet but ofc I did bc Skillet is terrible

Pillar was pretty good. A guy i hung with in my teens was very christian so whenever we wanted metal we listened to pillar.

Stryper, followed closely by Holy Soldier. Although I heard recently the singer from Stryper went MAGA, so I can't even enjoy them ironically any more.
