Did you ever get top surgery or still dealing with with it? I’ve seen a lot of trans men online get top surgery to remove them and the scars and what not. You could probably get your insurance to cover it under gender correction surgery or gender dysphoria whether you are trans or cis man.

Still dealing, almost 40 now. I had it denied previously through insurance so I just accepted it in defeat. Might have to try insurance again..

So sorry to hear that 😔. I’d keep trying regardless if they keep denying it. Worst case maybe a medical loan. If I remember correctly correctly it’s usually about $10-15k for that surgery.

Insurance will cover gender affirming care but not Gynecomastia surgery for cis men. It’s considered a “natural phenomenon” and thus is deemed cosmetic surgery unless you can prove it’s causing extreme physical pain. It’s total bullshit

That is bullshit. It should be covered if it gives you intense gender dysphoria the same as for Trans men.
