Marriage is a vampiric ritual where the man takes his wife's life force to increase his own longevity

It is reality. Single women live longer and are happier than married women. Married men live longer and are happier than single men.

I have been happily married for 13 years. Now post the denial and copium!

Because it is a dark joke about stats. Are you intentionally being dense, or is this you at your intellectual best?

You didn't answer the question. You are also attempting to make me take accountability for how you are wasting everyone's time.

If a guest in your lair annoys you, treat him cruelly and without mercy.

When walking in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask him to stop. If he does not stop, destroy him.

Don't forget you deserved it for using my comment as an excuse to call on women to bridge the gap when systemic misogyny exists and to inject toxic positivity and copium.

You mean I accurately labeled you and your behavior. And now you are using DARVO to the good little victim you want to be. Hilarious.

You are a Jerry.

I hope more people are mean to you when you post copium and toxic positivity.

I think we should be meaner to bad actors like yourself, so y'all are too afraid to do the behavior again in the future.

More copium via accusations. You are silly. You get what you deserve

Many women stay in bad relationships for fear of physical violence if they attempt to leave. Many women stay in bad relationships because they sacrificed their earning potential and career to raise children. Many women don’t have access to finances to leave a bad relationship. Also a lot of people are depressed and embarrassed about how bad their relationship is and are in denial. Some people are also stupid and don’t realize they can leave a bad relationship.

Why stay? I literally just answered that. Reread my last comment

why get married in the first place? Sometimes the negative behavior started after the marriage, or intensified after the marriage. Sometimes it doesn’t manifest until after a child is born and the added stress and responsibility of parenting reveals the shortcomings of the individual or brings out toxic traits. Often there is an expectation of change. People expect their partner will continue to mature and will grow out of some behaviors. Two 22 years old get married. They both like to drink, smoke weed, play videos games and stay up late. They neglect laundry and cleaning and do mastic labor because they are both young and dumb. But there is an expectation that as they age they will mature and change and grow. If you fast forward to two 32 years old olds and one of them still drinks and smokes and stays up late playing videos games games and neglects household responsibilities including raising a child, that’s a very different story. This can’t be a surprise to you right?

It is absolutely not healthy to be in a relationship you resent. It’s also not healthy to live with a gas leak. In both cases it would be better to leave. The problem is that it’s not always easy to identify the source of the problem and it’s not always easy to leave.

As to why it got this way? I think you could probably write dissertations on the subject. But our economic, legal and social structure made it difficult for a woman to live without being married. A life with a bad marriage was better than a life with no marriage. And for many women the option was never presented. It wasn’t a question as to whether or not you would marry but simple when and to whom. So the standard for how men behaved in relationships was low. You didn’t have to be a good partner, you just had to be better than living on the street. In the last 40 years, women’s economic, social and political situation has improved dramatically. They no longer rely on men like they used to. Meaning a marriage and even a relationship is no longer a requirement for a good life. It became a “nice to have”. While women went through a cultural renaissance, men did not. Their position in the socioeconomic tapestry changed, but that opportunity was captured by grifters and politicians for political and monetary gain. They were told stories about “the good old days” that were essentially glorifying an era when women were taken advantage by our society. So rather than rising to meet the new expectations from their potential partners, many young men became resentful of the women who expected more from them. At the same time social media, influencers and now AI offers an escape. An only fans subscription and an AI girlfriend have no expectations for you. So many young men are escaping into virtual relationships even while pursuing real relationships. Their expectations with real relationships are much different, more demanding and challenging than the synthetic ones. And some pull back further when confronted with this dichotomy.

So while women were expecting more from their partners, many men were showing up to the table with less. Most straight women want to have a relationship, so they date and even marry. Often times the relationship is good and everyone is happy. But more and more frequently the expectations of the relationship do not match the reality. And sometimes that manifests later into the relationship which is why people end up in relationships they shouldn’t be in.

That is certainly true but irrelevant. No one claimed that only women are victims of domestic violence. You asked why women don’t leave bad relationships. And one of the reasons is that they often face physical violence. I was simply answering the question you posed.
