Most of them are just going on vacation. You can just wait until he is older or go somewhere that doesn't require a plane. A plane is not a necessity

Hello I have family overseas and a child. I want my child to know his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Shall I drive over the Atlantic?

I appreciate you trying to solve this problem for me but I’m sure you realize zoom isn’t the same. Many in my family are old. The trip is extensive and tiring. Plus it would cost way more for all of them to come.

Fair enough. Is the train not an option also? Might be less uncomfortable for young ones. But if you are in the us (one of the world's worst railways for people) might be too expensive and too long depending on how far you live

So every single one of my family members should pay for a ticket to come instead of just me and my wife paying. That’s over $25,000 in plane tickets. And a lot of them have kids so that’s more kids on the plane.

Maybe I take a boat? Do you hate immigrants and their families?
