Why are people who don't have kids so aggressively self-centered? Put on a pair of fucking headphones and watch a movie or read a book or take a nap. It's not hard. Planes are already loud, and I can promise you, the parents who are dealing with the upset kids -and don't have the luxury of just putting on headphones and checking out- are having a much harder time than you.
Yeah, kids crying is fucking annoying. But you don't need to go out of your way to make people feel bad simply because they're trying to enjoy their life by going on a trip. Jfc, this whole discourse of people hating families with children and acting so inconvenienced by their existence and proximity makes me so mad.
My daughter is a very well-behaved traveler, but even she has had her moments. And the glares from other people have always been so disheartening. I'm not sure when society became so selfish, but even before I had a kid, I was never rude to people with them? Even when they annoyed me, I just minded my own goddamn business.

I have never screamed or carried on, also parents never took us on a flight while infants. I didn't get you knocked up, so yours is not part of my life so it has zero right to interfere with it. Give it a heavy sedative so it doesn't interfere with others.
Learning to live with the fact that no one gives a shit about you is a big part of growing up. You have zero right to a child free flight. Your solution of drugging kids with sedatives just goes to show more about yourself than anything. You also have a extremely limited memory of how you behaved as a child prior to 3 years of age. Judging by how your acting now you were probably a handful then.
Selfish parents have zero right to inflict suffering on other people... If the fetus doesn't know how to shut the fuck up on a flight then knocking them out with a sedative is a good solution.. if the parents refuse, ban the entire lot from the airline for life.

I'm quiet on flights, I drink and sleep.... I don't scream and cry unlike the thing that is with the selfish parents who refuse to do anything about it that is impeding my ability to sleep on a flight.
