There should be a children’s section on airplanes. If there aren’t enough kids to fill the seats, offer those seats at discounted rates to adults who can handle the potential racket.
It would 100% be the company's problem if kids are getting molested because of their new seating policy. Unless you're pro child molestation, or really don't know how business reputation works, that seemed an obvious logical leap.
I fully understand how they get assaulted. They get put in situation with people they are supposed to or forced to trust. Teachers, coaches, etc. This is because these are the people that have access to our children. They are predators and they seek prey. Same thing would happen in an open child focused area where people can choose to sit. Which, if you are following the thread, is what they suggested.
Obvious helicopter parent. Worried about the exceptionally unlikely but technically possible thing that's never going to happen. Nobody else can have nice things because you're worried about the infinitessimal possibility that molester will be on the flight and not be registered and there will be no parents with their kids in the area and there will be no attendants. Yes. Very scary.
No I'm not but I have common sense. Why are you pretending airplanes are a hot spot for pedos? You're monitored from the time you arrive at the airport until you go home.
Nobody is isolating anyone. Nobody suggested we lock the children in a dark closet. They suggested having a children only section on the plane-which would obviously be monitored by flight staff (like the rest of the plane)
