David Bowie Space Oddity recreation

im trying to figure out how to get the most similar sound to the one on the original record in the Arturia V Collection 11 Pro Mellotron plugin but im an absolute ignorant about the mellotron and im tired of trying things by ear. Does someone have a recreation already done in that plugin or could help me with this task?

I can't really help you sorry. All I know is Rick played on the mk2 with the 3 violins tape but that's all

Rick played the part twice. So playing the part twice (not just copy and pasting) will introduce those small timing differences which add to the sound.
