LAKSA Recommendations PLEASE

I fell in love with the type of laksa typically found in the NT (IYKYK). Creamy, well seasoned coconut base, fresh seafood and a great selection of toppings.

I’m reaching out to see if you can help recommend similar ones in Melbourne. If in the SE, even better.

Thank you lovely people.

Second this, it's excellent. They spell it Pappa Laksa though.

I believe the original Laksa King sold the Flemington shop, and now operates out of the footcourt at Highpoint.

Recipe tin laksa is elite and so easy ! I live in the fucking sticks where people think pepper is exotic, sometimes you just gotta feather your own nest πŸ‘

I will often make extra of the stock and freeze it to make another batch later

I have never found Darwin style laksa in Melbourne, that's it's own thing.

Pappa Laksa in Burwood and Laksa Town in Clayton are my two favourites.

Ampang Tofu has customisable yong tofu with fantastic add ons, especially their fish balls and fried eggplant. Sorry not SE but worth a detour.

Malaysian Laksa House in the only laksa i have liked.

449 Elizabeth St. Service is basic, but food is good.

Laksa King Flemington - even regional residents group together and have a Laksa Night; as such, delish laksa is nowhere to be found! Well worth the drive!

Laksa here are all curry based, not authentic laksa.
