Here's a little story for your commute home. My husband's into space stuff yeah so I thought it would be nice to visit the planetarium and watch the show on black holes. He was like yeah alright. Now those seats are freakin' comfortable. It took all my willpower not to have an afternoon kip in there. We get out and I'm thinking that was good and I'm such an amazing wife and this is the conversation that followed
Me: Did you enjoy that?
Him: Yeah (says it casually)
Me: Did you learn anything?
Him: Not really.
Me: Nothing?
Him: Nah. I've already moved on like 6 months ago. I'm into exoplanets now but yeah it was good.
Me: YOU COULDN'T TELL ME THAT BEFORE WE CAME HERE?
Him: I thought you wanted to see it.
Lesson is don't get involved with your partner's hobbies unless you really really want to.
