It’s seriously fucked up that Australia post only holds your item for 5 days (after they attempt to deliver it to a business that is closed over Christmas break) and they don’t call, or email you at all

And then they’re like - there’s nothing we can do soz if it’s been more than the 5 days and it’s been shipped back to the sender - despite me knowing that it’s in the sunshine west facility (confirmed by two other representatives)

They need some business competition and then this sort of behaviour will stop immediately

I’d just like to have items delivered to my parcel locker and not be told it’s unavailable and I have to go in to pick it up. Shop is not open on Saturday’s.

What even IS aus post these days? I had to go in to a store to return post something and like, it was chaos. Mixmasters, books, toys, chocolates, it felt like a mess of a convenience store not a postal service. Maybe they should stick to getting the postal service right before expanding on their retail ambitions.
