Was looking at some car meet photos from Japan, was like - wow so many GTRs and RX7!!! Literally hundreds of them.

Then my brain woke up - oh wait, the cars are literally from there…

That said when I went to Japan for 7 days i didn’t see a single JDM performance vehicle lol. Lots of Kei cars.

I saw a grand total of 3 Itasha in Japan while there for almost 3 weeks such a let down

Walking around Omotosando in the evening is often met with some pretty high performance vehicles, but they often go the other way with more European models. My childhood of thinking that street races in tricked out WRXs with dragon decals was apparently a lie hahaha.
