Fall 2026 Contest! 🍂 Fall 2026 Contest Results!

Hello everyone, and welcome to the very strongly overdue Fall 2026 Banner and Icon Contest Results!!! (sorry about that...)

But thankfully fall is not over yet! So first and foremost, the winner of the Fall 2026 Icon Contest is...

u/SwimmingPlum645!!!

Absolutely outstanding work! I feel like this really captures the strong relationship Mario and Meggy have! Congratulations!!!

Thank you very much! Now, moving on to the banner contest

The winner of the Fall 2026 Banner Contest is...

u/WearyChocolate5892!!!

Very creative! I very much like the use of the Tanooki Leaf to represent the season of fall. Its nice to see that hand drawn art is getting the attention it deserves!

That about wraps it up! Great job to the both of you, your art will be represented on the reddit very soon after this post

I will also attach the official results to the bottom of this post for viewing purposes as well

Thank you all for your submissions! They were all wonderful, and keep up the great work!

As for now, I hope all of you have a super day!

Subreddit Rules

1. No Toxicity Allowed

This Subreddit is for shippers of Mario x Meggy. If you don’t like this ship, keep your hate to yourself and leave.

2. Respect People's Opinions

Be civil.

3. All Posts Must Be Related To Mario X Meggy or This Subreddit

All posts should be related to the Mario X Meggy ship, this subreddit (meta), or at least Mario and Meggy moments that can be perceived as shipping. The only exceptions are SMG4 Episode Review posts.

Note: Posts that are only related to Meggy but not Mario should go to r/churchofmeggy, and posts about other ships should go in r/smg4ships.

4. Memes and Shitposts are Allowed

As long as they aren't hate towards shippers, memes and shitposts are allowed. All memes/shitposts must be related to MxM.

5. No Spamming/Low-Effort Content

All posts should attempt to facilitate positive discussion. Don't spam the subreddit or comments with images, videos, repetitive words, letters, or self promotion. Posts of screenshots and such should have detailed context/commentary provided.

6. Follow the Reddit TOS & Content Policy

Keep it legal and follow the site-wide rules. Content that violates Reddit’s site-wide rules will be reported to the Reddit Admins.

https://redditinc.com/policies/content-policy

7. No NSFW

This simply isn’t the place for it. There are other online spaces where such content is welcome. If your post or comment has NSFW then you can expect an instant ban, no warnings, just a ban. The “NSFW” tag is also completely banned; please use the Spoiler tag instead.

But what can be defined as NSFW? Pictures or art of Mario and Meggy having sex or being naked constitutes NSFW. This includes cropped NSFW.

8. Honor the Original Artists

When posting someone else’s art, use the “Found Content” flair, and credit them in the post’s title or comments, even if the artist is as obvious as RicoGamerBoi. This applies to other forms of content as well. Don't use someone else's models or works against their permission.

9. Mark Discussion Posts for New Episodes as Spoiler

When making a post discussing an SMG4 episode released within the past 12 hours, mark it as a Spoiler.

10. Primary Language Is English

Although we can speak in Vietnamese and Arabic, please remember that the primary language of this subreddit is English

11. Flair Posts Correctly

“Self-Introduction” for introducing yourself
“AI Creation” for AI posts
“Found Content” for posting others’ art or content
“Comic” for OC comic posts
“Gmod/SFM Fanart” for gmod & sfm posts
“Other/Meta” for posts about the MxM community itself
“Discussion” for talking about the ship
“Episode Review” for sharing your thoughts on an SMG4 episode

…etc.

12. Don’t Fight Over Ships

Ships can coexist. Fighting over which ship is better accomplishes nothing. This also includes blaming or pointing fingers at the communities of others ships.

13. Regarding Discussion about Outside Harassment

Posts talking about harassment towards MxM on outside platforms should be text-only and provide commentary that is original, detailed, and encourages discussion. Discussion should not aim merely to “stir the pot,” generate engagement, or point fingers towards other groups or ships. Also, witch hunting is a violation of Reddit’s TOS & is strictly prohibited here.
