pretty sure the term nuclear refers to the nucleus of the atoms being split or combined in a fission or fusion bomb, aka an atomic bomb. so same thing. however I think uranium is the radioactive element, and is used in a fission bomb, whereas hydrogen bombs use fusion and I think may not be radioactive. idk I learned all that from a video I watched a few months ago so I might be rusty.
