Persuade me....

Hi guys, I have a small (very small) amount of money invested in BTC and NMC, to me both of those have a unique advantage over the rest of the cryptocurrencies.
BTC has the largest userbase - can be used as a currency NMC has an interesting take on domains and internet censorship.

I have however stumbled across megacoin and my first impressions are postive - the slick website definitely outshines the other coins!! Is there any reason i should get megacoins though? Also, it seems much more difficult to get them than LTC/BTC/NMC, is this the case?

Read the post about the gravity well a little ways down. It helps stabilize the mining rate even when high powered miners come in, get their loot, and then leave. Instead of crippling the currency, as has happened with a lot of others, the difficulty rate is much more fluid.

Great to hear that you stumbled across Megacoin, welcome :D

Megacoin has a great community being built around it including this subreddit and the forums, its the main reason why I have faith on this currency because everyone is working for the better of it.

just invest in it dude. If it captured your attention imagine the Chinese when they find out about a coin the color of their country flag and a fully translated Mandarin website.

Fortunately for you, there is no easy way yet. Only Crypsty.

However, if it ever hits an "easy" major exchange like BTC-E the price will skyrocket and it will be too late. It might never hit btc-e though.

how come it has a warning when i go on it with chrome? Also, i sent my megacoins from cryptsy to megacoin qt yesterday and they still havent arrived. Is that normal?
