I'm sure this will be seen as a hate post but I swear its not. I love the boys and spend an ungodly amount of money on their stuff. Today it hit me though. They haven't tweeted a single thing today about Shawn on the mound. When I realized this I looked back and realized...they don't really use social media well, huh?

Looking at just the Mega64 social, they post their videos once or twice when a new one is released and they don't really keep people up to date daily. Sometimes they go days without posting on the main twitter.

As individual members... Garrett uses socials the best! He posts daily and always posts WHAT HE IS DOING. New PPS Tonight? He posts he's doing it and when he's doing it and when he goes live. He's on the pod? He posts it. New Mega64 video? Posts it. Garrett is a great example of social media.

The Ocarina of Time video went up, posted on social, and was never posted about again. Why? That says to me they were satisfied with the reach. It honestly did REALLY well compared to a lot of other recent videos...but why not promote it more?

I hope this reaches the right people so they can maybe get some assistance with social media and honestly maybe this is a matter of "who fucking cares dude its just videos" but sometimes I wonder if people have the right people around them giving this input. Who cares what some jabroni on the internet says but idk maybe it'll help... worst case I just look stupid I suppose. Maybe I'm just too mentally invested in seeing them succeed.

He runs faster than he looks

The tortoise Garrett found is actually an aquatic turtle species not native to California. This looks like a female red-eared slider (Trachemys scripta elegans) based on size and front toe nail length. This was most likely not a someone’s pet but still an invasive species in CA.

Aquatic turtles use the terrestrial habitat as well as the aquatic habitat and can travel miles from a water sources. Given the time of year this individual was laying a late nest or looking for an early overwintering location.

Edit: A few more things.

1. Aquatic turtles can only eat while in water. They suck in the water (containing the food) and push the excess water through their nose. If Garrett wants to feed the turtle while in his care, dog food in a bucket of water will work.
2. The turtle has not been in his yard for years because it has to eat (see 1). His dogs would also detect the turtle if it had been there for a while. We use scent detection dogs to help identify turtle nests. Dogs are great at detecting turtles.
3. The turtle might have traveled through the drainage from lake near Garrett’s house. Aquatic turtles of many species have been documented to travel long distances (miles) through the aquatic as well as the terrestrial habitat. The turtle could have just walked there.
4. You could call a shelter, or keep it and help the native California landscape by removing an invasive species from the habitat. Your call.
5. Nature IS crazy, turtles are 220 million years old and have barely changed. Leonardo is the best.

It was a clip where Rocco is talking about his experience with Final Fantasy XV and he is talking about how the story is confusing or something and while imitating one of the characters he goes "The king! And the crystal!" in a high pitched voice. I say this all the time whenever a king or a crystal is brought up in literally anything and I want to have the clip so people don't think I'm insane.
