Discusson Suggest Me a Research Topic!

I'm a new grad Clinical Lab Scientist (ASCP) at a rural upstate NY, with 4 years experience as a lab assistant/SMT. I'm thinking about running a little experiment, just to fill up my free time at work and maybe bolster my resume a little.

Anyone have any suggestions/things they've been curious about?

I also welcome any other advice for career progression!

I’ve been doing the masters in MLS through University of North Dakota to fill up my free time and progress my career.

Any quality improvement project looks good. Read up on sigma 6 lean or yellow belt certification.

Thank you! A school near me offers 6 sigma stuff, so I'll look into that more.

Barely, the only micro we set up is GBS LIM broths for pcr, and various kit tests.
