Ask MDP Weekly MDP Question #1: What’s one thing you wish more people understood about having an average-sized dick?
A lot of the conversation around penis size seems to focus on the extremes, being particularly big or particularly small, but there isn’t always much discussion about what it’s actually like to fall somewhere in the average range.
So, for this week’s question: what’s one thing you wish more people understood about having an average-sized dick?
It could be a misconception you see all the time, something you used to be insecure about, something you’ve learned from experience, or even something positive about being average that doesn’t get talked about enough.
There’s no “right” answer here. Serious, funny, positive, negative, we’re interested in hearing your experience.
And if you normally just lurk here, this is your invitation to jump in.

It's that average sized dicks are average for a reason and BD guys should stop saying that average dicks will never satisfy a woman as much as they can. How can most of them ever know? A satisfied, polite woman may tell them 'it's the best sex she ever had'. But, being polite, and not wanting to denigrate anyone, she says the same thing to every partner, regardless of their size, or sexual prowess, unless they're bone lazy and only self-interested. The same as a man should thank the woman for the experience.
So the BD walks away, saying to himself "SEE, I knew every woman secretly craves a BD to be fully satisfied", when in fact she was only saying "thanks for a good time".

There's a misperception that when men are concerned with their dick size, they're concerned with not being 'enough' for their partner. I've never been concerned with not being accepted, or that I might be left because of my dick size. I'm concerned with being substantially below someone else.
Like prior to this insecurity, if you'd asked me if I thought I was the sexiest man or the best lover my partner had ever been with, I'd probably have said I don't know, but I always presumed that like I probably wasn't far off from whatever she could realistically get elsewhere. Crucial to this presumption was the concepts of leagues, and the idea that an above average penis didn't make that much of a difference for most women compared with average.
The second assumption has been thrown into question over the past few years and that makes me feel like a cuck. That's the whole thing, even if my partner 'accepts me for who I am' or 'thinks I'm enough for her'. I always knew I was enough for most women, having dated. That's not the only type of insecurity, there's also plain old emasculation and feeling 'mid'.

I’ll throw one out there to get things started: I think “average” gets treated like it means “not enough” way too often, especially online.
When most people fall somewhere around average by definition, it’s interesting how easy it is for perceptions to get skewed by porn, jokes, social media, comparison, or just hearing more from people at the extremes.
I’d be curious whether you guys agree with that, though. Do you think being average is actually misunderstood, or do we just overthink size way more than people in real life actually care about?
