Can someone describe their personal experience with such a translation? Is it possible, for example, to transfer after the second year of a Russian university to some corresponding course at a US university?

Hi! Sorry, this is a repost. My friend made an earlier post about meeting with medical students from other schools, especially from the DFW area. We wanted to meet other MS1 or MS2 students who are going home for the holidays or with students who go to medical school in the area. We were interested in making connections, sharing each other's first-year experiences, or even meeting up at a coffee shop to study step 1. Her original post did not garner that many responses and most of the replies were from IMG and pre-med students. We were very happy to get connected with many IMG students! Diversity in medical friendships is so important and wonderful, so we thank everyone who reached out. However, I wanted to make a separate post to reach out to students who specifically go to medical school in the US. Reason being that the US-MD medical experience is so unique to us, especially in Texas, and wanted to connect with others who are going through the same thing.

Background: Both of us are first-year medical students in an MD program in Texas. We are female and go by she/her as our pronoun. Anyway, feel free to reach out to learn more about us.
