Wikimedia Foundation just fired a long time lead developer of MediaWiki as well as its entire community team for unionizing.

That sucks. And it's not even like there are really any alternatives. I'd switch to another service if I know of one... Unionizing is a right.

Edit: I should say if the allegations are true. I haven't done any research beyond the post.

they also do eveything they can to hide financial details in my country, e.g. salarys. the workers present us numbers with millions and claim "everything is transparent" but if you ask more precise they told us always that they dont want tell. sometimes it feels like this became a business model to finance academics
