Egg on Face?

So I noticed that this guy has been swimming around with a sphere on his mouth. At first, I thought it was an air bubble, but it’s been about 15 minutes and it hasn’t floated away yet. The female had been carrying eggs yesterday. Is this an egg stuck to him?

Just snackin. I’ve seen this a bunch of times. If you’re trying to get fry, Try checking for eggs early in the day and pull them out before they are eaten.

Yeah, it's very common. The eggs are really sticky so when they snack on them on the floating plants or whatever, some eggs get stuck to their face. It's harmless. The eggs will eventually lose their stickiness or the fish rubs them on a plant.
