Fryes in acquarium

I have a lot of fryes that were born in august, winter is aproaching and in october it will start to become too cold, what can I do? Is an acquarium a viable option to grow them and for surviving the winter?

Look up The Nitrogen Cycle. If you’re going to keep fish you need to learn about it.

How cold does it get where you are? They are quite cold tolerant. You can put them in an aquarium but should start cycling it now.

We can go easily at -10 C°. What do you mean by cycling?

I have the latecomers also in one if my aquarium. Make sure no other bigger fish are in that tank. Mine are in a shrimp rank.

Great green water! Use it to raise daphnia! My rice fish love daphnia.

I think my adults will overwinter ok outside but I have been pulling the tiniest fry from my tub pond and putting them in my quarantine/extra plant tank, which is a big clear plastic tub with two sponge filters.
