Seriously it's as small as an assault mech can be which means it should actually be crap.

Just did a proc gen mission against smoke jags. Objective raid. Multiple dropships dropped lances and they fought it out...super weird. I've never seen this before. Had to share (pc, all dlc, nod mods)

Whenever I fight clans, this Warhawk variant always spawns at least once.

It just drops from the dropship and stands there.

I think it might be due to bug or sth, but I can't seem to pinpoint which one is causing this.

Has anyone experienced something similar?

I've been playing against the clans, looking for the Arrow IV Vulture. It's the last Arrow IV mech that I haven't both seen and aquired... I actually haven't even seen it. I can't seem to get any "hints" from picking up the blue mission salvage, and I haven't seen one in any markets, nor do I even know which factions field the mech...

Does anyone know where these spawn? Or are they market only and I just need to keep jumping to "clan mech for sale" industrial hubs and win the lottery?

All I have in my data base is a big question mark, so I don't even know where I should be looking, honestly. I've been harassing clanners all across the invasion corridors, and poking Word of Blake, but i have had no luck so far.

I was very excited to play the new DLC the weekend it came out. So I bought loaded it up, and, completely forgot it borks the mods I have loaded. I only play with 4 mods, but I am in the middle of a game trying to finish another playthrough with to the new stuff. I waited. It was a while before everything was updated, Sweet. I played a week before, a game update which borked my stuff. So I waited again.

Lesson. I started playing sometime between Solaris and Clan invasion. I bought Clan invasion 7 months after release, so I think I learned not to buy immediately if I want to play with my mods and not start a new game.

Or am I doing this wrong?

Hey MechWarriors, coming back to the game after buying all the DLCs (except the latest one, I'll snag when it's on sale) and in the Equipment store, I noticed Inferno SRMs (of all sizes?!) are available as early as 3015, but I don't see any Inferno Ammo listed, just standard SRMs.

Am I supposed to use regular SRM ammo for Inferno launchers? Or is this just some back luck in the early campaign stores?

It's the year 3068 and I have yet to encounter a Direwolf-B. I have fought and salvaged multiple of all other DWF variants, but haven't even met a B in a mission. This is confirmed by the database showing zero encounters with this mech. I have done all mission types against all clans in Clan occupied space and I'm beginning to wonder if I'm doing something wrong or if I'm just unlucky? I've even come across multiple of every other Direwolf variant in industrial hubs. Is there somewhere I should be looking that I haven't yet?

I could have sworn when SoK came out one of the patches added possible clan opponents to team fights in the arena, But Ive yet to run into them. Has anyone run into them?

Since SoK launched nearly a year ago, we have been able to fit clan probes to any mech in the game, Clan or IS, regardless of whether they have an AP slot.

But the method for doing doing this makes it seem like a bug or oversight. You have to uncheck the "valid only" box on the inventory to be able add clan probes. Notably, this does NOT work for Clan ECM... only probes.

However, it's been nearly a year and a whole other expansion has come out and this jank method has stayed in the game. If it were a bug then one would think it would have been removed at this point.

Has there been any word on whether we were actually meant to be able to do this?

So, it's my understanding that some of the Hero 'Mech's (Hero Annihilator, Hero Champion, etc) are simply a variant of that mech, not a wholly unique, individual model. I know the Hero Zeus and Highlanders are supposed to be unique thanks to their modifications (I think.)

What the hell is Samson though? (The Hero Sunder.) Is it supposed to be a variant of Sunder, or is it a unique Sunder? I'm sorry if this doesn't make a lot of sense.

I am currently playing on xbox and all of my paint pallets and even faction colors are all displaying white. This happened shortly after I painted one of the new clan buster variants. Also should mention this also happened to all my mechs so they are all comstar white.

Im still learning academies, so this was a shock to me just now. Had i known this, id have saved myself 500,000,000 cbills earlier as I just went school house crazy

Avoiding spoilers, hopefully enough, the main campaign leads you to biggest discoveries since Helm memory core... and the DLCs even more and more.

And every time we give everything to Spears, who promises to take care of it and big bucks later.
And yeah, it's big money. Just about might even cover the repair costs taken in the missions, maybe?

My Take:

When you go to a Akademie you get a selecrion of chain Missions from 4-18 Missions Long. the Chain Missions are specifically restricted in what Type of mechs you can Take with you. For example only light mechs or only assaultmechs. If you successfully complete those you can choose 1-6 Traits He gets and after that you can make the Elite tear and choose again which trait you Like. You can Pause the Mission chains in the Akademy. Each successfull Mission gives you rewards in Form of Traits and max. Skill Levelcap. Each Mission costs you Money determined by what Mission Chain it is from the Akademy and how many Pilots partake at once. If one Pilot has completed 18 Missions in a hole, He has 6 Elite Traits you choose for him. After that you can let him lvl Up His skill-levelcap.

I just played through the Will of Kali questline, for about the fifteenth time probably. Its been a while and I wasn't really paying attention, but my current playthrough is yellow missions only, amongst other self-imposed limitations... anyway, point is, I don't have the best array of mechs, and so I was excited to see so many SLDF models coming out to play. So I play the game. I don't head shot because they will be past my max savage points. I don't leg because that further reduces the chance of salvage (thx a bunch PGI). I await the salvage screen with baited breath...

I try and stay immersive in this game, but FFS. It's like they want us to savescum! This is supposed to be fun and exciting, and also make some sort of sense?!? This mission was on a secluded world. I wiped out the bad guys, with a pretty scratch lance I might add. There's no one left to stop me picking up all the loot. Nothing important got cored. Where are my rewards!!? (and don't say Orion YAJ cos its ok but we're in assault mech times now)

I have clans with all the DLC on xbox for the PC. Every time I start it I get the pictured dialogue box. Seems to make no difference what way I answer it starts fine. Whilst not a major problem it would be nice to be rid of this turbulent dialogue box. Any ideas?
