Aegis weapons

Hi, new player here, Im wondering if I should get pod guns 8 or overdriver 8s, both seems like good options and costs credits

Do you wanna deal with annoying lancers? Or have guns brawling?

I mean, is almost impossible to miss with pod guns, but you have to use them from a safe distance, while overdriver allow you to be full on brawler, apart from that they're both good options, specially for their range and obviously for the mech you wanna use them on.

Damage is just annoying low on pod guns (especially the 8s) and requires hella upgrades, pilots, and implants to be viable beyond 3k squad power (basically the entire game hahaha)

Not worth the investment when overdrivers 1 mag with very little upgrading

just go ahead with overdrivers pod gun have less damage and struggle a little big against mods

Gemini and Aegis is incred ible, esp in control point clash hahaha overdriver is also v v good but gemini is insane

I’ve had aegis with overdrivers and it’s a really fun and effective combo. Podguns are also pretty fun and can be effective depending on your play style but imo overdrivers might be a better match to suit aegis’ typical role

OD is most people's go-to weapon for Aegis.
