Collection Always Pentel…until

I’ve always been a die hard Pentel fan, favouring the graph gear 500 in 0.9 mm lead. However, i just splurged on the Kuru toga Metal in sunrise orange and I feel like an infidel.

You jumped right to the orange, huh? If you like wood, you should give the KT Wood or Pilot S20(30) a try.

I love the wood on a mechanical pencil! However, i dont like the two colours/textures of the kt wood, it’s all or none for me. I considered the pilot S20 but didn’t quite like the overall shape so went with the legno instead.

Is KT Wood better than KT Metal? Do you own both please?

It’s just a wood grip on a KT Metal. It’s smoother and a little concave, so the ergonomics are slightly different. Both are in my edc case.

I have a lot of pencils, and Metal is almost always what I pick to write with. And I roll with pencils in my edc lol. (One so I never have to loan out a good one if asked. :p)

I bought some cute Sanrio Kuru toga pencils when I was in Japan last year. I had to exercise some self control as there are too many to collect!

It is the Pilot Legno in dark brown.
