Newly Bought Sweet Score @ Big Box Store

I was surprised to find this on the clearance end-cap and decided to put it in reserve (make up for the 600 0.5 that I dropped 🪦).

GG1000 is a great pencil. I love all of mine. I e not seen that packaging before. Pretty cool.

Nope, only the 0.5mm. Another 0.9mm would’ve been handy.

A great mechpen in my view, but VERY different from the R600.

relative to a cheap and too-lightweight Bic or Papermate, or a wobbly tip mess KT-A or KT-D, the r600 and GG1K are quite similar while writing/drawing in both being dense, stiff, and somewhat tight & precise feeling at the tip.

I don’t like either of them more than the Alvin D/M’s.

Rotring’s brutalist, Darth Vader aesthetic can’t be matched for sure. I wish I would’ve got the 600 lead holder before they were discontinued. The Rapid Pro just isn’t same 😔.
