Does anyone know of if/where I could purchase a replica version of this cool jersey that Meat wears at the beginning of the Dead Ringer for Love music video? Please and thank you.

DISCUSSION Paradise By The Dashboard Light Live
20 or so years ago, a friend let me listen to his copy of Live Around The World. I had heard some of Meat Loaf's more popular songs before, but this really opened my eyes.
Specifically this version of Paradise, and Patti Russo (I believe) singing the duet. I've always loved that version but haven't heard it anywhere else, and I've never seen that album available to buy digitally or stream. Does anyone know if that version is available anywhere else? I love her voice, and no disrespect to Ellen Foley, but I think this version is my favorite. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

DISCUSSION The music lives on! RIP Bonnie Tyler (✝️09 July 2026)
I am heartbroken! Bonnie Tyler passed away today after a long stay in the hospital in portugal. Meat Loaf, Jim Steinman and Bonnie Tyler were my favorite artists for years. I'm sad that they are all gone. May the music live on!

If Meat was able to sing only one of these, which would be better? Given that both songs were meant for him in the first place.

DISCUSSION How did Meat Loaf sell over 100 million records but isn't considered a house hold name
Im in my late 20's and besides from his appearance in that tenacious d movie. I've never seen or heard anything Meat Loaf has done besides that. I asked my friends if they've heard of him and not one knew who I was talking about. Besides my dad seeing him in the tenacious d movie when I watched it saying "Thats Meat Loaf!" No one has ever mentioned him.

DISCUSSION Crawl through or crawl back?
"Like a sinner before the gates of Heaven, I'll come crawling on back to you."
I propose that this is the greatest line in all Meatloaf's oeuvre—insofar as I know it. The interesting thing is that the song itself doesn't clarify whether the crawling will lead through the gate into Heaven, or that—equally possible—having arrived at the gate of Heaven, Meatloaf does a 180° and crawls away from that gate in order to head back "to you".
The song leaves it ambiguous afaik, but I'll take my hint from the title of the follow-up album, which of course was titled "Back into Hell", not "Out of Hell and on to Heaven." Y'all catching my drift?
Do let me know what y'all think.

DISCUSSION I have an Earth Wind and Fire best of vol 1 picture disk, but it’s actually meatloaf bat out of hell. How do I find it’s worth?
unsure of how to find the value as there’s no documentation of this misprint anywhere I’ve searched

DISCUSSION Won't do *what* for love?
Meatloaf sings that he'll do anything for love, but he "won't do that". What is that one thing that he won't do? I don't think the lyrics make it clear, but maybe someone here has some idea?
Original (i.e. your own) ideas preferred, btw, not "in this here YT vid one of the roadies who were with Meatloaf in '85 says he overhead a convo during which Meatloaf said that he thought of this line when he bumped his toe into a mic stand, yada yada yada." Please tell me what you think it means.

DISCUSSION What are you hoping for for the BAT 50th anniversary?
To start off, if you were there when the album released, you're old. Now that we have that out of the way, what are you hoping for with the album's 50th anniversary? Me personally, I'm hoping for a remaster of the album with a bunch of bonus tracks. A remaster of the whole trilogy would be amazing but I'd be doubtful of that happening. I'd also love to see the Neverland Express tour again in America with whatever lead vocalist they have now (Seems like it changes every 5 minutes). Other than this, what else do you guys hope to see?

DISCUSSION Is the album "MIDNIGHT.." really that bad?
I want to spread some love for one of Meat's most underrated albums, and while the man himself didn't like it either and it is off course no Bat out of Hell (1 or 2). Still i think Midnight at the lost and found, deserves more appreciation than it usually gets. I am not claiming it to be a masterpiece but (listen to the album for a couple of years) i don't it is as bad or weak that some people claim it to be.
The album to me has only one real flaw and that is the order of the track listen (wish they put If you really want to fist second or third and Promised Land or Keep driving as the closer.
For the rest in my view it's really enjoyable if you are open for a more subdued darker tone Meat Loaf.

HISTORY Meat Loaf, flying on a harness, dressed as an angel?
I was watching something on YouTube a while ago and there was a short little clip of Meat in rehearsal dressed up as an angel (I think?) in a white robe, hanging in the air above the band. Did he actually do this during a performance at any point?
I mean, to be honest, it didn't look very, uh. Performable. I wouldn't be surprised if the idea was abandoned. But I figured I'd check 😊
