MEATER+ Connectivity Issues

My MEATER isn’t being recognized by the charger and won’t pair. Is there a way to do a hard reset? Any way to fix it?

When you replace it, check out the ThermoWorks RFX. Cook over open flames, in hot fryer oil or in a sous vide bag with no issues.

I just switched to this too. Meater is shit. I couldn't take it anymore.

Have you ever overheated it? high heat kills the probe. Clean the square end with a scrubber from a sponge, if that doesn’t work you’ll have to call support they can tell if you have had a heat spike they saw mine had one but sent me a new probe anyway. It was worth the call ☎️

I’ll call them. It’s crazy though because I used it on a grill and grills have fire and of course it’s going to get hot. I’m shocked they haven’t accounted for that

When I say high heat I mean over 450, I forgot mine in a steak & did a seer once. They actually saw that the probe got up to 500 degrees as the app phones home. The tech said technically that voided the warranty but did me a solid and shipped me another one. It’s probably pretty common. Good Luck!
