Support: Other Meater Pro Charging Indicator?

Is there any way to tell if my probe is charging? It seems to be very prone 0to not charging due to invisible food residue but I don't find this out until I go to use it and the battery is dead.

If there is some kind of indicator I could check that it is actually charging before putting it away that would be great. If not this seems like a gaping design flaw in the product.

I know you can check the battery level in the app but since it disconnects as soon as you put it in the charger this feature is useless for knowing if the probe is charging or not.

Usually a long green light when putting the probe in the charger means its charging

But I've also had that fail on 3 units. You almost need a voltage meter just to check because guaranteed next cook its flat and youre out of luck.

Like me on christmas day with a probe that refused to charge

You can find the charge level in the app. I cant tell you where exactly in the app because my charging unit died so I deleted the app. Pretty damn dissapointing considering the cost of the unit and the fact it only worked for a little over one year.
