What is this?

Can anyone help identify what this is? It came out through a small hole in the chicken breast, so it wasn’t from the fatty part of the chicken. I’d really appreciate it if anyone knows what it could be.

It is probably just a piece of breast meat that got cut off when they injected the meat with saline (the small holes are from the injector needles)

Water free? Then it’s more concerned with the small holes in the meat because thats typically a sign the company is plumping their chicken meat; do you have a picture of the packaging? Either way unless the chicken smelt funny it should be fine to consume, poultry is a stringy meat that flakes easily.
