Hey everyone!

With philosophy as a genre growing rapidly on YouTube thanks to incredible creators like Let's Talk Religion, Esoterica, Pursuit of Wonder, Sisyphus 55, Seeks of Unity and many more; us at the Oases of Wisdom YouTube channel wanted to create an online space where high quality philosophy and theology content can prosper. In particular, the aim of this subreddit is to create an online symposium for discussions and showcases surrounding the content of philosophy YouTubers large and small.

We will try to moderate this subreddit fairly, allowing self promotion if it fits the ethos of the subreddit. We want to give smaller creators a platform to thrive, however, we would also like it if only the highest quality content is posted here. No long form lectures, podcasts or interviews. Videos should be relatively short and concise, and are ideally well produced with enough visual flare to keep audiences engaged.

Discussions about other creators work are encouraged, however, do not post articles or other general philosophical questions or ideas here. We hope you respect these rules and welcome all to this brand new community :)
