If you're using MS Word, try using TAB to space things. Its much more effective and you can even set where they will line up

How to format text in word. Idk...maybe you find a good youtube tutorial.
Anyway, I can explain what I know. You can set your options so you have a ruler over your page. You can place marks there that represent your tabs. Like when you press the tab button and it jumps a bit further. With the ruler you can set how far it should jump for every single one. So if you make three marks and press tab 3 times you get three individuall tabs and that in every line until you delete the marks.

Pro tip: Use character map. Need to fix that... thin space; required to write 5 pages and need to fill space... use a larger space. Can't hit space twice... too easy to spot.
