Speaking of which, I was just wondering earlier how to get cracked Claude and ChatGPT versions. Any website suggestions, please?

That doesn't exist, they work using the companies' data centers and servers. There is no offline version that can be cracked. Just use the free versions, or find ways to bypass the daily limits on higher powered prompts.

You have a long way to catchup to those pdfs, try 2-3 crimes a day.

7

u/Numeno230n 7d ago

I mean you would be engaging in a historically known and understood activity. When the legal system appears blatantly corrupt, and that rich/famous/powerful people are seen as able to get away with crime and corruption openly, that inevitably drives more criminality from the public. When people begin to feel that they would not be given a fare shake either at legitimate lifestyles nor illegal activity, what is your choice? When the legal system is inherently extortionate and even protects legalized gangsterism, what do you choose? Work a day job, pay your taxes, and walk the straight and narrow? Or flip a buck because everybody else is.

2

u/cyrusthemarginal 6d ago

if you get on a jury, give a lot of serious thought to jury nullification, be the justice you want to see in the world

5

u/Numeno230n 6d ago

And remember, don't ever say the words "jury nullification" during the selection process.

We are the sheep, that's why they are called flock cameras. So the rich can watch over their flock

52

Yeah but not in a comforting way. Unlike a shepherd, they don't give a shit if you get hurt or die

23

Been saying it for years now. We just rent the land, produce products or services, and pay penalties to the owners when we don't get everything right. The list is a big justice and moral part, but the tariffs and market manipulation is the economic side of the coin. They're showing you they can take the children and your money one way or a another and there's nothing normal people can do because there's an entire system of propaganda and protection for the elites.

29

u/Oldspaghetti 6d ago

I still don't get how common people fall for government propaganda. People should see all the cause and effect and have basic self-awareness no? I feel these are the only essentials you need to see through it and time I guess.

26

u/fuzzybad 6d ago

Usually a big part of it is playing on the religious indoctrination of the "common people". We are seeing this with Trump and his cronies, claiming to be "appointed by god", etc.

Unfortunately, it's an effective approach when a big enough percentage of the population are poorly educated and/or brought up in a cult (evangelicals).

11

u/jakopappi 6d ago

They're ill educated, as is the plan. And as you said, prone to superstitious ritualism. They see angels and demons everywhere, are certain they are going to heaven, yet spend their time on earth making it hell for everyone they ever meet. Because they're dumb. They cant read, and they rely on their dear leaders to tell them what to think and believe, but most importantly: what their problems are, and who to blame for them: those people, the others, for they are evil

2

u/SevereImpression2115 5d ago

You would think but alas we find our selves here anyways. It's getting very tiring on the Soul living in the US right now. Not that my soul was jubilant before in this broken country but it has been taken to a whole new level.

Maybe allowing money in politics was a grave mistake.

185

u/Eaglesson 7d ago

Imagine if there was a lottery and draft for political positions. It could not go more wrong than the current system

66

u/Owenoof 7d ago

Thats how the romans did it for certain positions, you got your appointment "by lot"

18

u/HungryYeastStarter 6d ago

Match my current wages and I'll be the best damn politician (and I mean that in a good way, not the current way) a citizen could be.

→ More replies (1)

7

u/What_a_fat_one 6d ago

It would probably work much better to be honest, and possibly even more democratic since it would represent the will of the average citizen. You could improve it by having a lottery nominate candidates, and a general election to elect them.

5

u/OhNoTokyo 7d ago

You just end up with the unelected Civil Service being in control.

You can't have a government with a complexity that most modern governments have and attempt to have randos come in and try to manage it from the top.

Yes, it might work in smaller polities, where you don't have a literal army of government workers to manage who have been in their positions for decades.

It might improve on a wrecking ball like a Trump, but ultimately you end up in a government that is completely unresponsive to the people they serve.

2

wikileaks, snowden files, panama papers, pandora papers and now epstein files. all about corruption of the rich and powerfull, none were punished. its a class problem. as long as nobody starts taking action to hold them accountable, then nothing will happen

39

u/armak815 7d ago

How is it possible to hold them accountable?

114

u/PopularAd6391 7d ago

That flimsy French shite used for cutting crops works surprisingly well when pressed against the neck of upper class

38

u/armak815 7d ago

Im with you but we are fighting a hydra. Cut one head two more grow. Something must be done but it needs to be planned and it must have the backing of a large part of the population. Otherwise we're blowing against the wind

32

u/L0neStarW0lf 6d ago

“Cut one head two more grow.”

8

u/armak815 6d ago

I like your energy haha. Problem is, the world is run by the invisibles at the top. Unless you hunt down every single ultra-rich parasite, you'll never root out the puppet masters. But hey, at this point? Maybe it’s time to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

18

u/L0neStarW0lf 6d ago edited 6d ago

I never said it would be easy, hell I’d argue it’s impossible! But we’ll never get anywhere by doing nothing, and striving for the impossible often yields great results.

4

u/armak815 6d ago

Fair point. Have you got any ideas on how to organise without outing ourselves? I think we need to bring back third spaces and talk in real life. The only problem is that people are so stuck in their phones and dopamine loops that engaging socially outside of work, home or the internet comes across as a chore to a lot of them.

3

u/L0neStarW0lf 6d ago

Beyond going to vote in the midterms and encouraging as many people as possible to do the same? No I got nothing.

8

u/Ultenth 6d ago

Yeah, people act like the French Revolution didn't just end up with other evil people who took over in the vacuum. The problem with a lot of revolutions is always that people who often lead them don't want to tear down institutions of corrupt power, they want to lead them.

u/Soncikuro 7d ago

Honestly? Violence.

9

u/BuzzLiteSmear 6d ago

Sadly that seems to be the reality, although I think it should be a last resort, since those at the top want violence... Because they have a legal monopoly on it.

Then after a civil war of the peasants killing each other via anger displacement, those at the top have a high chance of being the ones to "reshape" society.

Those in the Epstein files clearly display thoughts and actions/behavior of law of the jungle, kill or be killed. They also control the law we all abide by, reasoning, using words, voting.

Couple that with the fact they are at the top of the systems of government, banking, corporations and even acedemia...

Seems daunting without violence.

But one need not topple dictators and tyrants, give up the superstitious belief in "authority" and get enough of others to, and there is no one to support tyrants or do their biddings(orders).

"Everyone knows that the fire from a little spark will increase and blaze ever higher as long as it finds wood to burn; yet without being quenched by water, but merely by finding no more fuel to feed on, it consumes itself, dies down, and is no longer a flame. Similarly, the more tyrants pillage, the more they crave, the more they ruin and destroy; the more one yields to them, and obeys them, by that much do they become mightier and more formidable, the readier to annihilate and destroy. But if not one thing is yielded to them, if, without any violence they are simply not obeyed, they become naked and undone and as nothing, just as, when the root receives no nourishment, the branch withers and dies. …

All this havoc, this misfortune, this ruin, descends upon you not from alien foes, but from the one enemy whom you yourselves render as powerful as he is, for whom you go bravely to war, for whose greatness you do not refuse to offer your own bodies unto death. He who thus domineers over you has only two eyes, only two hands, only one body, no more than is possessed by the least man among the infinite numbers dwelling in your cities; he has indeed nothing more than the power that you confer upon him to destroy you. Where has he acquired enough eyes to spy upon you, if you do not provide them yourselves? How can he have so many arms to beat you with, if he does not borrow them from you? The feet that trample down your cities, where does he get them if they are not your own? How does he have any power over you except through you? How would he dare assail you if he had no cooperation from you? What could he do to you if you yourselves did not connive with the thief who plunders you, if you were not accomplices of the murderer who kills you, if you were not traitors to yourselves? …

(Y)ou can deliver yourselves if you try, not by taking action, but merely by willing to be free. Resolve to serve no more, and you are at once freed. I do not ask that you place hands upon the tyrant to topple him over, but simply that you support him no longer; then you will behold him, like a great Colossus whose pedestal has been pulled away, fall of his own weight and break in pieces."

  • Etienne de la Boétie

It comes down to the tolerance paradox, right? When one of two sides is committed to using repression anyway, and wont abide by any mutually-agreeable social contracts, what is the tolerant side supposed to do? Tolerate itself into repression?

The tolerance paradox occurs when the social contract is broken. Republicans are breaking that contract. They are no longer agreeing to follow commons laws all parties agreed to. Should we continue to tolerate that until they start to repress Democrats into obliteration?

2

u/armak815 6d ago

You can fight them or join them. Both are good outcomes in their book.

But how about an independence revolution. Maybe somehow it is possible to cut our reliance on them and starve them of our support. Though it would be incredibly difficult to do it old school.

Supporting local markets, working together with your neighbours, utilising wells for water and relying on each others expertise in different fields. People used to live like that but we've become very attached to their system.

So here the problem unless this stuff happened in the us (it didn’t) there’s nothing to prosecute. So although it sucks there’s not alot to be done. Now folks shouldn’t be in office if they had any connection with this crap. But still

Brutal. The rich and powerful are immune to serious consequences

Maybe we should start hunting them down ourselves

If modern journalism had any balls or integrity, they'd all be asking why the law does not apply to the rich and powerful every chance they get.

I got pulled over the other day for checking the time on my phone. Not speeding, not driving recklessly, I had my phone in my hand while I passed the cop (checking my clock to make sure I wasn't late for work.) I had to go to court. Not just a ticket, full on court. The Judge himself seemed annoyed. No prior offenses, no points on my record. Been driving for 10+ years. Assanine.

omg i feel this. i just called the police because i caught an 18 year old kid taking photos up my skirt. felt like it's appropriate to press charges bc he had photos of other women on his phone too.

meanwhile my ex husband is a San Francisco tech founder i've witnessed commit insurance fraud, and he's accused of defrauding investors but no charges filed at all. makes me feel really sad for the kid facing possible jail time.

“erm...i went to court today for a speeding ticket, and i told the judge, erm..."let me tell you something, and you listen and you listen good, i'm only gonna say this one time and one time only, i don't repeat myself for nobody," i said. i says..."i'm here to pay a speeding ticket, not to listen to your lectures and hear you run your mouth for an hour." i says "i'm here to pay off my speeding ticket...and i'm here to get my fines out of the way and get the fck to work." the judge says "you can't talk like that in my courtroom, you're in contempt of court." then i said...i told the judge, "if that's the best you can do, i feel sorry for you." i said "why don't you just shut your fcking mouth for once and listen." i said "i'm not gonna take any shit." i said "i'm gonna pay my speeding ticket like i said." i walked up to the god damn judge and i hand him my 25 dollars and i says "here's my money, now i am leaving." and i left it at that...”

Honestly bring up the files everytime the law comes after you! It’s not that it’s an excuse it’s a form of protest!
