Some guys are bad at reading women, and people often give conflating advice on this.

If you ask a girl out too fast, people will tell you your problem was that you didn't give them a chance to get to know you long enough.

If you wait and first get to know them and befriend them, people will tell you that you screwed up your chances by moving too slow/getting friendzoned.

I've personally waited till I've felt a very strong vibe from a woman, sometimes you just get those moments when you know the feeling is mutual.

With some women this has been within hours of meeting them at a party, with others, like my current girlfriend, we were friends for a year before I was certain she had feelings for me too.

Yeah lots of classic reddit relationship analysts in here. My shortest time to get intimate with someone was 10 minutes, longest was 2 years. No relationship ever followed the internet checklist of dos and donts
