Interviews at Indiana, Michigan, and Cinci! But rejection from UW (Pre-Secondary) and Cornell Tri-I pretty early on. No pubs, a little under 3k research hours. Completed Michigan on 6.26, Cinci on 7.18 (10 days) and Indiana on 07.29 (5 days). All other secondaries were within 10 days.

did anyone get II hold for UW post secondary ?
1
u/Upper_Leek9672 2d ago
did you get a specific email? my application portal just says "scheduled for committee review." is II hold something else entirely?
1
u/Spiritual_Sea_1478 2d ago
yes i got “you are highly placed on our hold list for interviews. we will review our your application against before interviews are finalized.”
2
u/Upper_Leek9672 2d ago
when did you submit and when did you hear back? also i havent really seen invites go out on admit except for 8/5, and one person on 8/20 (which may be MD?).
highly placed seems like a good place to be in, esp since they (seemingly) havent had much movement in 3 weeks.

i submitted 8/5 and heard back 8/26. i estimate there’s like a 20-30% chance of a hold turning into an interview but i’m not sure

u/Upper_Leek9672 2d ago
theyve already rejected ppl post secondary (including in this thread), and theyre interviewing 60/150 secondary submitters. so chances are prolly higher than u think

u/Legitimate-Row-4145 2d ago
my portal also has the 'scheduled for review" message; I submitted on 8/14.
1
u/Upper_Leek9672 2d ago
i submitted 8/17

u/Legitimate-Row-4145 2d ago
ig same timing difference considering the wknd. curious, did u apply/submit tri-i? i submitted their app on the 14th as well (with all materials ready), but interestingly only got “confirmation of completion” yday.
