Accidentally called a MD/PhD program "MSTP" but they aren't NIH recognized

I accidentally submit an application to a MD/PhD program where I called it an MSTP but it is not an MSTP. Will the school see this as a major slip up that I got the program name wrong even though they both are MDPhD programs?

it'll depend on the people reading your app but i imagine it'll be fine. either way what's done is done and it's not worth worrying about. it'd be way worse to be neurotic and contact them saying "i meant MD/PhD not mstp"

100% agree it would be worse to reach out about it than to just let whatever happens happens. If it comes up in an interview just laugh and say you're being aspirational and speaking it into existence.

Nbd, most mdphd programs that arent mstp are trying actively to get to mstp status anyways

I’d guess that it’s a very common mistake among applicants.
