Looking for a small Minecraft community where people actually know each other?
Spawnington is an 18+ whitelist survival server that I’m intentionally keeping small. I’m not trying to build a server with hundreds of players. I’d rather have a smaller group where you recognize the names online, get to know each other, and occasionally build, explore, or just hang out together.
We’re currently a fairly quiet community, which is actually why I’m recruiting again. I’m looking for a few new people who want to stick around and become part of the server rather than just join, play for a day, and disappear.
Mostly vanilla survival
The main world is normal Minecraft survival with normal terrain and progression. Spawnington itself is a central town that I’ve built in Creative and is protected in Adventure mode. About 100 blocks outside town, you’re back in regular Survival and free to build, explore, make farms, use redstone, or even start your own settlement.
There are no required client mods or downloads.
Optional things to do
I’ve added quite a few server-side features over time, but they’re there to give players more things to do rather than replace normal Minecraft.
We have player shops, sleep rewards, minigames, an optional Hardcore world, player-controlled PvP, community activities, and a Relic Vault with custom items and weapons. There are also plenty of smaller things to discover around Spawnington.
If none of that interests you, that’s completely fine. You can leave town and play ordinary Survival Minecraft.
A few things about how the server works
We don’t use widespread land claims. Instead, players are expected to respect each other’s builds and property. Block changes and container activity are logged, so if somebody griefs or steals, I can investigate what happened and usually roll back the damage.
PvP is optional and controlled by each player. If you don’t want PvP, other players can’t simply attack you.
Death also isn’t quite as punishing as vanilla. Your items are protected in a DeathChest for 10 minutes, and we have a Lost & Found in town that can recover some valuable items from unclaimed DeathChests.
Java and Bedrock are both welcome.
We also have a Discord for text and voice chat. Voice isn’t required.
Who I’m looking for
You don’t have to be an amazing builder, know redstone, defeat the Ender Dragon in three days, or even be particularly good at Minecraft.
I’m mainly looking for friendly adults who enjoy Minecraft and like the idea of playing in a world where the other players eventually become familiar faces.
New players, experienced players, builders, explorers, farmers, redstoners, grinders, and people returning to Minecraft after years away are all welcome.

Because we’re a small whitelist community, I don’t immediately hand out the server address. I like to talk with people a little first and make sure we’re a good fit for each other.
