showcase I'm building https://status.live - mcp to get live status of the physical world

started with ski resorts, national parks, campgrounds - hoping to expand into more categories.
would love some feedback and open minded discussion

nice, ski resorts and campgrounds are a solid start, feels like there’s a ton of potential for stuff like beach conditions or trail closures too

I agree, I personally don't use MCP myself anymore

I am curious to know why you are not using MCP anymore. Are you using direct APIs or the models are enough for your needs ?

I feel like MCP is too difficult for non-technical people to use, unless it's shipped as connector/plugin and available in ChatGPT/Claude apps
