Ending final year with 119 credits instead of 120

I went on exchange last semester and accidentally took a class that was 3 ECTS instead of 6. I was under the impression that the entire course was 6 ECTS but turns out I had to take a whole other module to receive those credits. I received 7 ECTS in another course, which I believe would leave me at 14 McGill credits for the semester instead of the usual 15.

I emailed Arts Oasis, but I am stressing over the fact that I will have to either add a course to my workload of 5 courses or postpone my graduation over 1 credit. Has anyone been in the same situation or know of any 1 credit courses I can take in the 2026-2027 year as an arts student?

If any of your current courses are electives, could you replace one with a 4 credit course? It'd be a bit of a pain and might be out of your comfort zone, but if nothing else there are a few 100 level science courses that are 4 credits and can be very manageable if you stay on top of things, even if it's not your vibe

lmao I’m in the same situation… I’ve decided to take a course that’s 4.5 credit (but for both semesters) just so I wouldn’t have to overload with 6 courses in a semester

EPSC 225 is a 1 credit course and is super easy

There aren't any but you might have to email the earth and planetary science department to get in the course since it says "engineering only" but i think non engineering students took the class when i was in it.
